Best Foods Contest - Win $50 Cash!!

Food is one of the main "delivery systems" for many of our wonderful herbs, and we are always looking for new recipes. So, plan to share by bringing in a favorite dish for the Best Foods Contest. Not only do you have a good chance to win $50, but your efforts will be appreciated by all attendees at the Friday night reception. Categories are: Most Tasty, Most Herbal, and Most Creative. To participate, you must bring a dish and present the written recipe with the name of your dish, recommended amounts, and your name. Also, please bring a serving spoon, tongs, or fork if needed to serve your dish. Winning recipes are published in the newsletter!

Raffle

The raffle is a perennial favorite at WHW. With a donation from each vendor, as well as member and sponsor donations, there is always something for everyone to vie for!

The raffle is more than just good fun - all funds raised from the raffle go to support our internship program. The 2014 raffle raised enough to cover the cost of four interns (see Internship Program below) in 2015!

Please consider donating an item to the raffle!

Internship Opportunities

Being an intern is an excellent opportunity for young people to attend WHW tuition free, a $275 value! Interns are in charge of coordinating the raffle, assisting presenters, and helping the NCHA members who run the conference. Interns also have the opportunity to attend some of the classes, have lunch with the conference keynote speaker, and still have lots of time for networking, making new friends, and having fun!
